The fine print
The short version: we collect only what we need to give you a spot at a dinner, we never sell it, and your money is handled by Stripe.
When you apply for a dinner we ask for your name, email, phone number, dietary needs, and your answers to that dinner's questions. That's it. We use it to review applications, plan the dinner, cater to allergies, and email you about your spot.
Payments are processed by Stripe on their secure checkout. Your card details never touch our servers and we never see them. We keep a record of what you paid and Stripe's reference for it, so we can issue refunds.
If you pay to reserve and aren't selected, you're refunded 100%, before the dinner. If we cancel a dinner, everyone is refunded in full.
If you cancel: more than 48 hours before the dinner, full refund; between 48 and 24 hours, half; less than 24 hours before, no refund. To cancel, reply to any of our emails.
We email you about your application, your spot, and your credits — the emails that make the dinner work. Newsletter and event announcements are separate, and only if you signed up for them.
Two, both functional: one remembers your Day/Night theme, one keeps you signed in to your profile if you use it. No tracking, no ads, no third-party cookies.
Want to see what we hold about you, or have it deleted? Email us and it's done. Your dinner history and any referral credits are visible any time on your profile.
